The Swedish National Agency for Special Needs Education and Schools runs three special schools on behalf of the State for pupils with serious language impairments from pre-school class to year 10. We have one Hällsboskolan in Umeå and two in Stockholm, at Kungsholmen and Mälarhöjden. We accept pupils from all over the country.
At Hällsboskolan we work with language and communication in different ways. The aim is that our pupils shall be given the conditions to achieve the knowledge goals, to be involved and active in different social contexts and to develop as individuals.
In the brochure you will find out more about Hällsboskolan and how you apply for a place for your child at a special school.
